Before working at Normandy Digital Marketing Solutions, one of the first things I noticed was the poor website design. After being hired, I had the opportunity to redesign it with total creative freedom. I began by using Figma to create a detailed wireframe and site mockup. For the development, I turned to Webflow, a platform that was completely new to me despite having created a handful of sites in the past. The learning curve of mastering Webflow, along with the integration of custom JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for unique animations, presented significant challenges. Balancing the need to reflect the company's existing branding while introducing a modern and bold aesthetic was another hurdle I needed to overcome.
To tackle these challenges, I started by creating a detailed wireframe and mockup in Figma, laying out the site's structure and design elements. This initial step was crucial for visualizing the final product and ensuring all stakeholders were on the same page. Once the design was approved, I transitioned to Webflow, where I built the site from the ground up. Utilizing custom JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, I added unique animations to enhance the user experience. The color scheme—light blue, deep green, and bright orange—was chosen to reflect the company's branding while injecting a fresh, modern feel into the site.
To elevate Normandy Digital Marketing Solutions' online presence, I used a light blue, deep green, and bright orange color palette to reflect the company's branding while adding a modern touch. The visual design features a sleek bento box layout, organizing content into clean, modular sections for improved readability and navigation. Custom animations using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS bring the site to life, enhancing functionality and user engagement. This blend of bold aesthetics and innovative design sets a new standard in the digital marketing sector.
